
The online automatic meter for storage tanks, also known as a multi-functional servo level gauge, is the latest generation of metering-grade servo level gauges. It can accurately measure the liquid level, temperature, density, oil-water interface, and tank bottom deformation. Additionally, it can measure the density and temperature at multiple points within the tank, monitor the gradient density distribution, and perform multiple measurement functions with a single instrument. The corresponding technologies have been granted national invention patents.
The DSM type storage tank online automatic meter uses a servo measurement principle to measure the liquid level. It employs both buoyancy and vibration frequency methods to monitor the liquid level simultaneously, and uses actual height measurement and zero point correction to automatically adjust, achieving high-precision liquid level measurement. The density is measured using the most advanced micro-vibration cylinder method, which directly measures the liquid’s density through changes in frequency. The temperature is measured using high-precision platinum resistance thermometers, which correct the sensor readings while measuring the temperature. The water level is determined using radio frequency dielectric loss (RFDL) technology, which identifies the oil-water interface and eliminates interference from the emulsion layer. After the measurement, the system automatically calculates the standard density, weight density, VCF, oil volume, water volume, and oil quality.
The liquid level accuracy of the equipment can reach ±0.4mm, density accuracy can reach ±0.3kg/m³, temperature accuracy can reach ±0.1℃, oil-water interface accuracy can reach ±2mm, alarm monitoring and remote inventory function can be realized, improve the safety management level of oil depot measurement, can completely replace manual measurement.
